Please note that while we make reasonable adjustments to remove any barriers to education, additional fees may be payable where this is not possible. For example, to provide additional support due to a disability. Please contact us if you believe you have any additional needs so that we can discuss your options before enrolling on a course.
Our classes are mostly face-to face, however, there may be the occasional need for classes to be taught on-line and to complete remote self- study when necessary. You will, therefore, need technology that can support the use of Microsoft Teams.
In order to successfully complete the course, students must have a minimum of 80% attendance and commit to self-directed study when preparing for assignments. The workshops are optional but provide an opportunity to progress the assignment in a supportive environment. This part-time course is taught across 33 weeks and is not consecutive, as university holidays are taken as indicated on the university website.
Successful achievement of the CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing will allow progression onto the CIM Level 7 qualifications
Alternatively, you can utilise your skills to elevate your current job role. This qualification bolsters your credibility and expertise within the field and is certain to complement a career trajectory in marketing.
An interview with a member of the Professional Studies teaching team is required, prior to, or at enrolment and this will be completed online or at one of the open evening events run by the college.
This course requires a minimum of 6 students to be viable and will be restricted to a maximum of 12 students to provide quality support and interaction.
To complete the qualification, you will have to pass the assessments within each module. Each module is assessed separately via online and written assignments. There is a well-stocked library within the University and individual lecturers will advise on recommended texts.
Students are expected to have suitable qualifications at Level 4 (degree or equivalent), CIM level 4 qualifications or relevant work experience. All three assessments are focused on creating an applied marketing plan and so students need to be in a suitable role to be able to access necessary data and information.
