Library: The University Centre Library is in our bright, modern building. It provides a range of books, journals and DVDs and access to eBooks, eJournals and subscription databases on and off-campus to support your studies, a quiet Academic Study Area, bookable PCs, laptops and WiFi. Library staff are always on hand to assist you and we also offer specialist workshops and one-to-one help with research and referencing.
Inter-Library loan requests: Inter-Library loan requests can be used to request books and journal articles we do not have in the Library.
Using Other Libraries: Students studying for a degree validated by the University of Surrey may visit the university library for reference purposes, to borrow books and to access some of the electronic databases in the Library – University of Surrey Library. You can access many services at your local public libraries including Access to Research (A database of academic articles), quiet study spaces and access to computers.
Laptop Loans: We have laptop lockers positioned around the campus, which means you can borrow a computer for the day without having to bring in your own.
We focus on giving you the skills and knowledge to kick-start your career, which is why many of our courses are more hands-on than you might expect.
CLASSROOM BASED LECTURES
Our class sizes are similar to college, which means you won’t get lost in the crowd or feel like just a number with us.
SMALL CAMPUS EXPERIENCE
Our small campus is full of plants, natural light, and new facilities that will help you feel good while studying. Plus, you’ll have exclusive access to University Centre study spaces in the College.
PLENTY OF PERSONALISED SUPPORT
Studying a degree at a small institution means your lecturers will know all your strengths and weaknesses, and give you valuable feedback and support to help you go further.
