In order to successfully complete the course, students must have minimum of 80% attendance and commit to self-directed study when preparing for assignments. This part-time course is taught across 7 weeks and is not consecutive as college holidays are taken as indicated on the college website.
Our classes are mostly face-to face, however, there may be the occasional need for classes to be taught on-line and to complete remote self- study when necessary. You will, therefore, need technology that can support the use of Microsoft Teams.
The assessment method for this module is a 90-minute onscreen assessment utilising Multiple Choice Testing.
This course is part of the CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional and Digital Marketing, which consists of four modules: Marketing Impact, Planning Integrated Campaigns, Search Engine Optimisation and Social Media Marketing. If you choose to complete all four modules, you receive a Certificate in Professional and Digital Marketing.
Students are expected to have suitable qualifications at Level 3 (for example T Levels or A levels in Business or Marketing) or Level 4 (degree or equivalent) in a non-related subject area. Work experience in a marketing role is preferable, though not essential.
An interview with a member of the Professional Studies teaching team is required, prior to, or at enrolment and this will be completed online or at one of the open evening events run by the college.
