The curriculum is designed to nurture your individual creative style, offering a thorough grounding in design fundamentals while allowing you to specialise in areas such as branding, motion design, editorial, and interactive design.

With a flexible timetable of two full days per week, the programme supports a healthy balance between study, work, and personal commitments. The final year empowers you to pursue a major personal project, culminating in a portfolio that showcases your distinctive abilities and sets you apart in the job market. This degree is aimed at students who wish to develop their skills and portfolios to work in the diverse graphic design industry. You might currently be studying a Level 3, A Level, or Access to Higher Education course; be returning to education after a break, or wish to transfer from another higher education institution. It may also be possible for you to join this course in its second or third year following relevant qualifications and/or experience in the workplace. 

On this course, students will be given a thorough grounding in a wide range of design subjects and creative practical skills. The programme offers you the opportunity to develop your skills in more depth in a range of commercial graphic design topics, including work placement in the design industry. The final year of the programme offers you the opportunity to focus on your select pathway of interest in the field of graphic design as well as undertaking a major personal project.
