Why study this course with us?

This programme is perfect for those with a creative flair for designing, drawing, web design or photography. We encounter the work of graphic designers every day – on packaging, magazines, books, advertising and online. The ability to explore the different techniques and skills for each of these mediums could lead to a range of interesting careers.

At Farnborough, you will be involved with live industry briefs, design work placements and international design competitions. You will also be taught the latest Adobe Creative Suite software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects in modern Apple Mac studios. The design studio is fitted out with large format printers, a 3D printing facility and computerised cutting facility.

A degree in graphic design will hone your design skills and encourage your own creative style that will be evident in your portfolio of work produced over the two years of study, which will help set you apart from other candidates when starting your new career.

Type of degree Total tuition fees
Typical three-year degree at a large university £27,750
Two-year accelerated degree at Farnborough £18,000
Savings £9,750
