We have continued to invest in our facilities, providing you with greater access to bright and vibrant working spaces
There are a range of specialist facilities available and all higher education students have access to the University Centre building, home to our library, Costa and small teaching spaces. Our newly refurbished Study Centre also provides a quiet area to work in, with seminar rooms, laptop-friendly seating, and IT facilities.
We have a TV studio, radio studio, editing suites, and recording studios for students who are taking on a media course.
The UCF Study Centre is available to all students as a space to work on assignments or even book a room for group work.
Sport students will regularly be using our gym and sports lab during their course, which has recently been refurbished.
The Aerospace Research and Innovation Centre is home to our engineering students who make the most of these new facilities, complete with a Cessna aircraft, composites suites, and avionics suite.
There is a range of different computing suites depending on the course you are studying. Some are based around game design, while others focus on cybersecurity and networking.
The Esports Arena contains high-end gaming PCs in a setting that encourages teamwork and competitive gameplay. The lighting is also designed to get gamers into the right mindset for concentration and victory!
Our Emerging Technologies Centre is at the centre of the campus and is where students come to learn about augmented reality, artificial intelligence, drones, and games development. It’s also a conference space where we host large events.
For those studying to work with children, our spaces will emulate many of the workplaces where you will be aiming to work at. This includes an early years simulation classroom, interactive technology, and an on-site nursery.
Our Careers Library and Learner Services team are based together as your one-stop shop for support and guidance.
